High Protein Mac & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 17g plain flour

  • 350ml semi skimmed milk

  • 140g cheese (I used a four cheese mix and red leicester)

  • 350g raw chicken breast

  • 200g uncooked pasta

  • SEASONINGS:

  • garlic granules

  • onion salt

  • lots of black pepper

  • paprika

  • parsley (fresh & dried)

Directions

  1. Start by boiling a bit of salted water and add your pasta to cook alongside cooking some chicken and setting it aside

  2. In a pan add your flour and milk then stir till it starts to thicken

  3. Add your seasonings and stir again

  4. Add in your cheese & stir till melted (make sure you leave some for the top)

  5. Once your pasta is cooked add this to your cheese sauce and mix

  6. Add your chicken and mix

  7. Top with your left over cheese and place in the oven at 200c for 10 mins and then the grill/broil at the highest heat for 5 mins or until golden brown

  8. Top with fresh parsley, eat alongside a side salad for greens and enjoy
