Ingredients

1 head cauliflower

0.5 cup all-purpose flour

0.5 cup cornstarch

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon salt

0.5 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 cup water

0.5 cup mayonnaise

2 tablespoons Sriracha sauce

2 tablespoons honey

2 cups vegetable oil

Directions

Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.

Cut the cauliflower into bite-sized florets, ensuring they are all roughly the same size for even cooking.

In a large bowl, whisk together flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and water until smooth and lump-free.

Dredge the cauliflower florets in the batter until fully coated, then roll in panko breadcrumbs to cover completely.

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and fry the cauliflower in batches until golden brown.

Transfer fried cauliflower to the prepared baking sheet and bake in the oven for an additional 10 minutes for extra crispiness.

While the cauliflower is baking, mix mayonnaise, Sriracha sauce, and honey in a small bowl to make the bang bang sauce.

Remove the cauliflower from the oven, drizzle with the bang bang sauce, and toss gently to coat evenly before serving.
