Potluck Meatballs

Ingredients

1 egg, beaten

1/2 cup bread crumbs

1/4 cup grated onion

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp ground allspice

1/4 tsp pepper

1 lb ground beef

1 Tbsp cornstarch

2 cans condensed beef consommé

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Combine first six ingredients, add beef, and mix. Shape into meatballs 1 1/2" in diameter.

Brown meatballs on medium heat; drain.

Combine cornstarch and consommé until smooth, add to skillet. Bring to a boil, stirring to loosen browned bits from pan. Boil two minutes or until thickened.

Pour over meatballs, bake uncovered for 30-40 minutes.
