Oven Fried Feta Rolls with Chili Honey

Ingredients

8 oz feta cheese, crumbled

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 tsp fresh thyme leaves (optional)

6 sheets phyllo pastry, cut in half

¼ cup melted butter or olive oil (for brushing)

Chili Honey:

¼ cup honey

½ tsp red chili flakes

Directions

Prep Filling:

In a bowl, mix feta, ricotta, and thyme until smooth.

Assemble Rolls: 2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lay a half-sheet of phyllo on a clean surface, brush lightly with butter or oil, and add a tablespoon of the cheese mixture near one end. Roll up, tucking in sides to form a neat roll. Repeat with remaining phyllo and filling.

Bake Rolls: 3. Place rolls on a lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden and crispy.

Make Chili Honey: 4. Warm honey in a small pan, add chili flakes, and stir. Drizzle over the rolls or serve on the side.

Finish & Serve: 5. Garnish with fresh thyme if desired. Serve warm with extra chili honey for dipping!
