    How to Make Easy Homemade Ciabatta Bread Croutons

    Ingredients

    4 cups cubed ciabatta bread (cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces)

    1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil

    ¼ teaspoon dried basil

    ¼ teaspoon garlic powder

    ¼ teaspoon onion powder

    ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

    ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt

    Directions

    Heat oven and season ciabatta: Adjust the oven rack to the middle position and heat to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Add the ciabatta bread, extra-virgin olive oil, and seasonings to a large bowl. Toss to coat evenly.

    Bake: Spread the bread cubes in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes or until golden brown and very hard and crunchy.

    Serve: Add croutons to garnish your soups and salads.
