Pie Crust From Scratch

Ingredients

(Ingredients for single crust- 2x for double crust)

1 c flour

1/2 t salt

1/3 c shortening

3-4 T cold water

Directions

In mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Cut in shortening with a know until it is pea sized. Sprinkle water over mixture on tablespoon at a time, while tossing and stirring lightly with a fork. Form into a ball, flatten on a floured surface, smooth edges. Roll out. Fold in half to transfer to pie pan.
