Spaghetti Sauce

3 pounds ground beef
2 large onions (diced)
1 (4.5-ounce) jar sliced mushrooms (drained)
1 green bell pepper (diced)
4 (15-ounce) cans tomato sauce
1 (28-ounce) can diced tomatoes (undrained)
3 tablespoons dried Italian seasoning
2 tablespoons dried oregano
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons salt
Hot cooked spaghetti noodles
Grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
1. In a cast-iron skillet, brown ground beef. Drain off grease and transfer beef into a large stainless-steel boiler.
2. In the same skillet, sauté onions, mushrooms, and bell pepper until tender. Add vegetable mixture to beef in boiler. To boiler, add tomato sauce, tomatoes, Italian seasoning, oregano, garlic powder, and salt. Cook over medium-low heat for at least 30 minutes. Reduce heat to low and simmer until the flavors have blended, 1 to 2 hours.
3. Optional: cool and freeze for 1.2 million years
4. Serve over cooked spaghetti noodles and top with Parmesan
