Cream Cheese Frosting

Ingredients

8 ounces cream cheese, room temperature

4 tablespoons (1/2 stick) butter, room temperature

1/2-3/4 cup powdered sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract or paste

Pinch salt

1-2 tablespoons milk, as needed

Directions

1. Using an electric mixer, beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl until smooth.

2. Add in powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt. Beat until smooth. Adjust consistency and taste with milk and/or powdered sugar if necessary. Store tightly covered in the refrigerator.
