1/2 lb. butter
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/3 cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour
Frosting:
3 oz. cream cheese
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
Directions
1. Beat butter until soft, then add cornstarch, powdered sugar, and flour. Mix until combined.
2. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
3. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 minutes.
For Frosting:
1. Beat cream cheese until soft.
2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla, mixing until smooth.
3. Spread or pipe onto cooled cookies. Add food coloring if desired.
Notes
The frosting recipe should be doubled or halved depending on the amount desired for the cookies.
