French Toast

1/2 cup flour
1 1/2 T. sugar
1/4 cups milk
6 eggs
18 slices day old French bread,
1 inch thick
1 T. butter or corn oil
Directions
Beat flour, sugar, salt, milk and •
eggs with rotary beater until smooth. Soak bread in batter until saturated.
Heat butter or oil in skillet. Carefully transfer each bread slice to skillet; do not over- crowd. Cook bread over me- dium heat 12 minutes on each side or until golden brown. This recipe is great made with my leftover day old bauquette bread
For a crispy French Toast press in Rice Krispie crumbs after soaking in egg mixture.
