Ingredients

200 g ground beef

200 g ground pork

50 g breadcrumbs

1 large egg

25 g grated Parmesan cheese

1 clove garlic, minced

1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped

1/2 tsp dried oregano

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Olive oil, for browning

Directions

In a bowl, combine 200 g ground beef, 200 g ground pork, 50 g breadcrumbs, 1 large egg, 25 g grated Parmesan, 1 minced garlic clove, 1 tbsp parsley, and 1/2 tsp dried oregano. Add salt and pepper to taste. Mix gently until just combined.

Shape the Meatballs:

Form the mixture into meatballs, each about 4 cm in diameter. You should get around 8-10 small meatballs.

Brown the Meatballs:

Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a small amount of olive oil. Brown the meatballs on all sides for 2-3 minutes per side. They don’t need to be fully cooked at this stage. Remove and set aside.

Optional (Cooking in Sauce):

If adding the meatballs to a sauce, simmer them in the sauce for 15-20 minutes until cooked through.
