1 tablespoon granulated sugar
1 ¼ cups milk (any type)
1 large egg
3 tablespoons melted butter
Directions
Make the batter:
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
2 teaspoons vanilla extract (optional)
Add milk, egg, melted butter, and vanilla (if using). Mix until well combined.
Cook the pancakes:
Heat a non-stick griddle or pan over medium heat and grease it.
Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the griddle.
Cook until bubbles form and edges are set (about 2 minutes). Flip and cook for another minute.
Remove from pan and keep warm.
Serve:
Top with your favorite toppings and enjoy!
