Kayla’s Caramel Rolls

12 frozen Baker Boy cinnamon rolls
1/2 cup butter
2 cups brown sugar
1 heaping cup vanilla ice cream
Directions
Heat butter, brown sugar, and ice cream in a sauce pan over medium/low heat. Heat until all sugar granules have melted but do not let the mixture boil.
Let caramel cool down to room temperature.
Grease heavy duty roasting pan with butter. Do not use glass pan.
Pour caramel into greased pan. Set frozen rolls in caramel pan and cover with thin dish towel. Let them rise covered for ~5 hours.
Once rolls have risen, bake at 375 F for 15 minutes until edges are dark golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them sit in the pan to cool for 25 minutes.
Flip pan onto a cookie sheet covered in wax paper to serve.
Notes
Caramel can be made several days ahead of time and kept in the fridge. Keep in mind cold caramel will cause it to take longer for the rolls to rise.
