1 box (smallest size) rice Chex
1 box (smallest size) wheat Chex
1 box (smallest size) plain Cheerios
2 cups pretzels
Assorted nuts (big container at Costco)
2 teaspoons marjoram
2 tablespoons beau monde
2 tablespoons seasoned salt (Lawry’s)
1 tablespoon old hickory smoked salt
2 1/2 teaspoons summer savory
1 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 3/4 teaspoon onion powder
1 pound butter
Directions
In large baking roaster (I use disposable), mix cereal, pretzels, and nuts.
Melt two sticks of butter and add all spices.
Put butter/spice mixture over the top of cereal mixture.
Cut remaining butter into small slices and cover cereal mixture.
Bake at 250 degrees for 1 hour, stirring gently every 15 minutes.
Notes
Marjoram, beau monde, old hickory smoked salt, and summer savory are hard to find. I always order it off Amazon.
