Almond Crunch

Ingredients

1 cup sweet butter

1 cup sugar

3 tablespoons water

1/2 cup almonds

1 cup chocolate chips

1/2 cup walnuts

Directions

1. In a heavy saucepan, melt butter and sugar together.

2. Add water, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon.

3. Bring to a boil, add almonds, and continue boiling for about 10 minutes until mixture turns caramel color.

4. Pour onto foil, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and spread with knife.

5. Sprinkle with walnuts. Let cool and break into pieces.
