  • 1 Cup Sugar

  • 1/2 Cup Cream

  • 6 Tablespoons Butter

Directions

  1. put the one cup of sugar into the sauce pan.

  2. stir frequently.

  3. Stir until the sugar clumps and then eventually crystallizes and then melts. Once everything melts, it will be brown, and you take it off the stove.

  4. Immediately put 6 tablespoons butter

  5. It may sizzle. The butter will mix, but some will still remain on top.

  6. Add cream.

  7. Add 1/2 teaspoon salt. Salted caramel is a teaspoon.
