Kathy's Apple Crisp

1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1 cup oats
2 tsp. cinnamon
12 Granny Smiths or Spy
2 sticks butter
1/2 cup orange juice
2 T. dark rum
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Directions
• Mix dry ingredients together.
• Toss apples with one cup of the dry ingredients. Place apples in pan- put remaining dry in- gredients over top. Cut butter into dots and dot over the top.
• Mix orange juice, rum and va- nilla together.
• Pour orange juice mix over ap- ples and bake at 325° for 40 minutes. Sprinkle pecans over the top for the last 10 minutes.
