Sugar Cinnamon Loaf

2 T yeast
1/4 Cup warm water
1 cup milk, scalded
1/2 cup sugar
1 T salt
1/4 cup shortening
2 eggs beaten
5 1/2 - 6 cups flour
Directions
Mix as for bread. Let rise twice. Divide dough into 2 balls. Roll into a 6 x 20 inch rectangle. Butter dough and sprinkle with I T cinnamon and 1/3 cup sugar. Roll up and put into a loaf pan. Let rise, sprinkle tops of loaves with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 for 45 minutes.
Notes
This was always a favorite. Good toasted. We ate it for breakfast with cream of wheat or cream of the west.
