Ethan’s Mac N Cheese

Ingredients

1 bag Noodles, preferably shells

6 tbsp Butter

6 tbsp Flour

1 tsp Salt

1 cup Parmesan

1 tsp Nutmeg

2 cups Milk

Salt and Pepper to taste

Directions

Noodles

1. Cook noodles al dente per directions.

2. While noodles are cooking, make sauce.

Sauce

1. Melt butter in pan over medium heat.

2. Add flour and salt to melted butter, mixing until well blended. Cook 2-3 minutes.

3. Add milk bit by bit, and cook until you reach desired thickness. Note that the cheese will make it thicker!

4. Remove from heat and add cheese and nutmeg. Mix until cheese is melted. Add salt and pepper to taste.

5. Add cheese sauce to cooked noodles and mix.

Notes

If the sauce is too thick after adding cheese, add a bit more milk and put on heat again.

To keep the sauce warm and cheese melted while cooking the noodles, put it on a very low heat and put a lid on it.
