Recipe from the kitchen of Blanche De Laud

1 heaping qt of dandelion blossoms

3 oranges

3 lemons

5 lb sugar

1 lb raisins

1 yeast cake

Directions

Cut oranges and lemons. Place in container with blossoms. Pour boiling water over them. Let’s set for 24 hours. Then strain and squeeze out and return to container. Add raisins and yeast cake. Let it set until it’s through working. Then strain and bottle. It takes from 10 days to two weeks.
