Papa’s Lasagna

Ingredients

1 lb ground meat (or more)

1 28 oz can diced tomato (I use petit-diced these days)

1 28 oz can tomato sauce

basil (liberal = tablespoon +)

1 onion chopped fine

2-3 cloves minced garlic

1/4 cup (or less to taste) sugar

oven ready lasagna noodles )or make your own fresh)

1 container cottage cheese

2 eggs

1-2 lbs mozzerala mozzerella•

Directions

1. Brown mean, onions, garlic

2. add tomatoes, sauce and basil (you can experiment with other herbs too)

3. simmer for a bit

4. Divide cottage cheese into two and mix one egg into each half

5. Place oven ready noodles in bottom of pan

6. Spoon in about half the sauce

7. Add a layer of cottage cheese

8. Add layer of moz. Cheese

9. lay down another layer of noodles

10. add Layer of cottage cheese and moz. Cheese

11. put in rest of sauce

Bake at 400 for about 45 minutes
