Thick and Chewy Peanut Butter Cookies

1/2 cup creamy peanut butter π₯

Directions
In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, cream the butter and sugars until smooth π§π¬π―.
Add the peanut butter, egg, and vanilla extract, mixing well and scraping down the bowl as needed π₯π₯π¨.
Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Add this mixture to the wet ingredients all at once and mix until just combined πΎπΆπ§.
Scoop the dough onto baking sheets lined with silicone mats, spacing them evenly πͺ.
