Grandma’s Beef Roast

Ingredients

Beef roast

1 yellow onion

1 can beef broth

2 cups water

3 tablespoons flour

4-5 potatoes, quartered

2-3 carrots, cut into 3 inch chunks

Directions

Brown all sides of the meat with oil.

Put roast in pot with onion, beef broth and 1 cup water.

Cook in oven for 2 hours at 350 F.

Mix 3 tablespoons flour with 1 cup water.

Pour into pot mixing where it hits.

Add potatoes and carrots.

Put back in oven for 1 hour.

If not done: put on top of stove to simmer and cut up meat 1/4 inch thick.
