Lasagna Impossible Pie

1 pound lean ground beef
1 onion
1 cup ricotta cheese
3 tablespoons grated parmesan cheese
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (4 ounces)
1/2 cup tomato sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup (60g) Bisquick® mix (or 1/2 c flour, 3/4 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt)
1 cup (242g) milk
2 eggs
6oz can tomato paste
Optional addition: tomato sauce, heated, to spoon on top of each slice
Directions
Heat oven to 400ºF. Grease 9-inch pie plate. In a bowl, mix ricotta, parmesan, oregano, basil, and salt. Spread mixture evenly into the bottom of the pie dish.
Cook ground beef and onion until browned; drain fat if needed. Stir in 1/2 cup of the mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup tomato sauce to the beef; spoon evenly over ricotta mix.
In a bowl, whisk eggs, milk, Bisquick mix, and tomato paste until blended. Pour into pie plate.
Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake 1 to 2 minutes longer or until melted. Cool 5 minutes. Serve with additional tomato sauce.
