Ingredients

1 salmon filet

1 lemon

3-5 garlic cloves

3-5 tbs butter

1 tbs olive oil

Honey

Salt

Cayenne pepper

Black pepper

Directions

Rinse and pat dry salmon fillet

Season one side evenly with salt and pepper (optional to rub down with olive oil)

Meanwhile heat pan to medium heat

Melt butter and olive oil together in pan (pan should have high sides)

Once pan is heated, place seasoned side of salmon on the pan and then season the exposed side the same way.

Pour honey over salmon. I eyeball it but it is probably around 2 tbs. Really you just want an even layer over the exposed side.

Place thinly sliced lemons fourths (meaning I half the lemon, then halve the halves and thinly slice) onto the exposed side and some into the melted butter oil mixture.

Spread minced garlic in the same fashion (some on the exposed side and some in the oil butter mixture).

Leave enough lemon slices and minced garlic to put in once you flip the salmon. I usually give each side 4-5 minutes, but you can eyeball it. It is done as soon as it starts falling apart really. If the middle/thicker section is flaking, it is definitely done.

Since there is no lemon juice, the salmon is to be eaten with the thin lemon slices.

Serve and enjoy.
