Jackie's Olive Garden Pasta Fagioli Soup

1 1/2 lb. ground beef (or soy meat)
1 chopped onion
1 or 2 cloves minced garlic
salt and pepper
1/2 to 1 cup celery
2 cans beef broth
2 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes
2 large cans tomato sauce
1 Tbsp sugar
1 can small white beans
1 can kidney beans
1 can water
2 carrots (julienne style)
2 cups small pasta
1 can whole kernel corn
dash red pepper, oregano, basil, parsley, bay leaf
Directions
Brown ground beef (or soy meat) with onion and garlic, seasoning with salt and pepper. Drain.
Add remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, turn down heat and simmer until tender.
