3 lb chuck roast
Salt, pepper, garlic powder
1 tbsp olive oil
2 cups beef broth
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 tbsp each of Ranch seasoning and Montreal Steak seasoning
1 onion sliced
Arby’s sauce
Horsey sauce
Onion Buns
Cheddar cheese
Directions
Season a chuck roast on all sides with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Add 1 tbsp of olive oil to a large skillet and heat to medium high heat. Sear the roast on all sides until browned.
Add the roast to a large crockpot with 2 cups of beef broth. Season with 1 tbsp each of ranch seasoning, steak seasoning, and minced garlic. Add some Arby’s sauce and sliced onions on top. I add enough sauce to cover the roast.
Cook on low for 8 hours. Remove the roast from the crockpot, shred the meat with two forks, and discard any extra fat.
Add a little bit more Arby’s sauce to the meat and stir well.
Lay out the buns on a sheet pan. Add a scoop of the meat to the bottom bun, top with sliced onions from the crockpot, Arby’s sauce, and cheddar cheese.
Place the sandwiches in the oven under broil to melt the cheese and toast the buns. Add Arby’s sauce and Horsey sauce to the sandwiches and enjoy!
