Strawberry Poundcake

Ingredients

• 1 lb. strawberries, washed, stem removed, sliced thin

• 1 cup Pinot Grigio wine

• 1/ 4 cup honey

• 10 Golden Oreo cookies

• 1/4 cup brown sugar

• One box of strawberry jello pudding mix

• Pound cake loaf

For the whipped cream:

• 1 cup heavy cream

• 1 Tbsp powdered sugar

• 2 Tbsp Bourbon

Directions

• Add sliced strawberries, wine, and honey to a large bowl and set it aside.

• In a separate bowl, crush cookies using the bottom of the thick glass or mug.

• Stir crushed cookies with brown sugar and pudding mix. Set aside.

For the whipped cream:

• Add all ingredients for the cream to a large mixing bowl. Use the standing mixer or a hand-held mixer, and whip it, starting on low speed and increasing to high slowly as it begins to firm up. Beat for about one minute until stiff peaks form. Stopping once halfway through to scrape down the sides of the bowl.

To assemble:

• Slice the pound cake loaf into eight thick pieces.

• Place one piece on a serving plate. Spread it with whipped cream, top with boozy strawberries, and sprinkle with Oreos crunch. Cover it with another pound cake slice and repeat with whipped cream and strawberries.

• Repeat with the rest of the ingredients and serve it immediately!
