Persian Rice

2 cups Basmati Rice
2 tbsp Olive Oil
6 cups Water
2 tbsp Salt
1 pinch Saffron
Directions
Bring water to boil in a deep pot.
Add 1 tbsp olive oil and salt. Allow water to boil.
Wash and rinse rice until water is clear.
Add rice to boiling water and allow it to cook.
Once rice is cooked strain the water and cool it down by running under cold water.
One the same pot add the drained rice the pot and into a cone/pyramid kind way.
Make 5 small holes in the rice around by sticking handle of spatula all the way down of the pot.
Microwave one tbsp of olive oil and saffron.
Add olive oil and saffron onto top of the rice.
Cover the rice with aluminum foil and a lid.
Heat up the rice in medium heat for 15 minutes.
Ready to serve.
