Pecan Tarts

Ingredients

Pecan tarts:

6 ounces Philadelphia cream cheese

1/2 pound margarine

2 cups flour

Filling:

1 3/4 cups light brown sugar firmly packed

Pinch of salt

2 tablespoons melted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

1 cup ground pecans

Directions

Mix first 3 ingredients together to form tart dough.

Create small balls to form the tart and put into mini muffin pans.

Chop nuts and put 1/2 teaspoon in the bottom of tarts.

Beat eggs, slightly with fork, add sugar and melted butter, salt, and vanilla, put 3/4 teaspoon on top of nuts.

Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes. Let’s set for a few minutes. Should be golden brown.
