Cheese Soup

2 cups diced potato
1 1/2 cups chopped onions
1 cup carrots
1 cup celery
2 cups chicken stock or 6 bouil- lon's in 2 cups of water
2 cups milk
1/2 cup unsifted flour
3 cups (12 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
1 tsp. dry mustard
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1/2 cup beer
Directions
Cook vegetables in stock for 30 minutes. Combine milk and flour with beater and add to the other ingredients. Do
not boil.
