Fig Whiskey Bread

3 eggs
2 1/2 cup of sugar
2 cups ripe figs mashed
3/4 cups canola oil
3 cups flour
2 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup whiskey
1 cup chopped pecans
Directions
Be together the eggs and sugar. Add in the figs and canola oil. Separately stir together, the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
Add flour mixture to the eggs. Add alternately pecans, buttermilk, and whiskey. Mix well.
Makes two loaves.
Bake at 350° for 60 to 70 minutes.
