Mom’s Spagetti Sauce

1# burger
1 # pork sausage
1 Tbsp olive oil
1 Quart Whole tomatoes
2 6oz tomato paste
1 Quart tomato sauce
1 or 2 cans of mushrooms, with liquid
1 Quart tomato juice
SPICES
6 cloves of garlic
1 tsp Italian seasoning
1/2 tsp fennel seed, crushed
1/2 tsp summer savory
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp sweet basil
1/2 tsp thyme
1/2 tsp marjoram leaves
2 bay leaves
1 tsp rosemary
1 Tbsp sugar
2 Tbsp Parmesan cheese
Directions
Brown meats and onions in olive oil. Food process garlic and all spices except bay leaves and Parmesan . Add tomatoes, paste,sauce and mushrooms. Add some of the tomato juice, bay leaves,Parmesan cheese and salt and pepper. Simmer at least 4 hrs, better if it is cooked most of the day add tomato juice as it cooks down.
