One Hour Buttermilk Dinner Rolls

Ingredients

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

⅔ cup buttermilk

¾ cup water

4 cups all-purpose flour, divided

3 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 tablespoon rapid rise yeast

1 teaspoon kosher salt

Directions

Preheat oven to 170°F. Heat butter, buttermilk, and water to 115-120°F. Transfer to stand mixer and add sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix with dough hook. Add 3 cups flour slowly, then add remaining 1 cup flour until dough is soft and cleans the sides of the bowl. Let dough rise in a warm place for 20 minutes. Shape into rolls and place in a greased baking dish. Preheat oven to 375°F, bake for 12-14 minutes, until golden brown.
