Ingredients

1 20 oz can crushed pineapple

1 21 oz can pie filling any flavor

1 pkg yellow cake mix

1/2 cup butter cut up

1 cup chopped pecans

Directions

Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease 13 by 9 by 2 inch pan. Dump pineapple into pan, spread evenly. Important, do not drain the pineapple prior to placement in the pan. Dump in pie filling and spread into one layer. Dump dry cake mix on pie filling layer, spread evenly. Sprinkle nuts over cake mix. Sprinkle cut up butter over top. Bake for 48-53 min. Serve warm or cool. To with whipped cream or ice cream if desired. You can use any pie filling and walnuts may be used.
