Fresh Garlic Salsa

Ingredients

1 large (29 oz.) can tomatoes

1 medium onion, cut in large chunks

1 green pepper, cut in large chunks

2 cloves garlic, diced fine

1/2 tsp salt (heaping)

1/2 tsp chili powder (heaping)

1 T. vinegar

1 4 oz. can diced green chilis

Directions

Drain tomato juice from tomatoes into blender. Add next 6 ingredients and chop-blend until fine. Add tomatoes and blend only on 'stir' - not a puree. Then add chilis. Stir in. (They need to maintain their shape). Store in refrigerator. (Stir before using. It settles). Makes 4 cups. To make thicker add tomato sauce.
