Vodka Pasta

1 stick butter unsalted
¾ tsp red pepper flakes
¾ cup vodka
3 cloves garlic, minced
¾ cup heavy whipping cream
1 16 fl oz canned San Marzano crushed tomatoes (make a double batch with 28 oz can and just double the rest)
1tbsp SEASONED salt
1 cup parm, grated and basil
1 box penne pasta
Directions
Melt the butter and red pepper flakes over med low heat until melted
Add the vodka and cook at a simmer for 7 minutes
Add the garlic, crushed tomatoes and cream and simmer an additional 5 minutes.
Add seasoned salt and cook 3 minutes
Add the cooked pasta, parm, and basil along with a small amount of pasta water and cook a couple of minutes together to thicken.
