The Best Dumpling Sauce - at Least in My Opinion

Ingredients

2 tbsp soy sauce

2 tbsp water or dumpling water (if boiling dumplings)

1/2-1 tbsp chili oil or chili garlic sauce (homemade recipe on my website)

1 tbsp doubanjiang aka chili broad bean paste (I used Lee Kum Kee’s)

2-3 tsp sugar, adjust to desired sweetness

2 tbsp Chinese black vinegar or rice vinegar

2 tsp sesame oil

1/2 tsp sesame seeds

1 tsp minced garlic

Fresh scallions and coriander

feel free to adjust everything to suit your taste!! for the dumplings, I simply steamed these before pouring in the sauce. ❛◡❛
