Molasses Drop Cookies

Ingrediente

1 c sugar

1/2 c shortening

1 egg

1/2 c molasses

1/2 c hot water

1/4 t salt

3 c flour

1/2 t cinnamon

1/2 t ground cloves

1 t baking soda

Frosting

1 c powdered sugar

1/2 t vanilla

Softened butter

Instrucțiuni

Mix well and drop by spoonfuls on greased cookie sheets. Bake at 400° 10-12 min. Frost with powdered sugar frosting.

Frosting:

Mix powdered sugar and vanilla with 2-3 T softened butter. Slowly add a few drops of hot water until you get the consistency you want.
