Honey Peach Cream Cheese Cupcakes

1 ½ cups all-purpose flour

½ cup unsalted butter, softened
8 oz cream cheese, softened
¾ cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs

½ cup peach purée (canned or fresh peaches blended)

8 oz cream cheese, softened
¼ cup unsalted butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons honey
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons peach purée (optional, for flavor and color)
For Garnish
Fresh or canned peach slices
Drizzle of honey (optional)

Preheat and Prep:
Preheat your oven to 175°C (350°F). Line a muffin tin with 12 cupcake liners.
Mix Dry Ingredients:
In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
Cream Butter and Cheese:
In another large bowl, beat the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth and fluffy.
Add Sugar and Wet Ingredients:
Add sugar and beat until creamy. Then mix in eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla extract, honey, and peach purée.
Combine Wet and Dry:
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
Bake:
Divide the batter evenly among cupcake liners and bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting.
Make the Frosting:
Beat the cream cheese and butter together until smooth. Add powdered sugar gradually, then honey, vanilla, and optional peach purée. Mix until creamy.
Frost and Garnish:
Pipe or spread frosting on cooled cupcakes. Top with a slice of peach and a light drizzle of honey if desired.
