Chicken alfredo sauce

Ingrediente

1 stick of butter

1 pint heavy whipping cream or 2 cups

4 ounces cream cheese softened

6 cloves crushed garlic

1-2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon italian seasoning

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon pepper

1 cup grated parmesan cheese (fresh or the plastic tub is fine. Just not plastic packaged)

3 cups penne or seashell pasta or whatever pasta you want

salt for pasta water

Instrucțiuni

1.In a medium saucepan add butter, heavy whipping cream, and cream cheese. Cook over medium heat and whisk until melted.

2.Add the minced garlic, garlic powder, italian seasoning, salt and pepper. Continue to whisk until smooth. Add the grated parmesan cheese handfuls at a time and stir until all melted in.

3.Bring to a simmer and continue to cook for about 3-5 minutes or until it starts to thicken. Toss it with your favorite pasta!

Note

I cook one whole chicken breast for 2 people but I would do 2 breast for more people.

This would also be great with shrimp.
