Butter Chicken

For the chicken marinade:
2 lbs chicken thighs, cut into small pieces
1/4 cup thick yogurt
3 tbsp chickpea flour / besan
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1 tsp garam masala powder
1/4 tsp cinnamon
Ginger garlic chili paste:
8 cloves of garlic
1 inch piece of ginger
2 green chili peppers
For the sauce:
3 tbsp butter
2 whole cinnamon sticks
6 whole cardamom pods
6 whole cloves
1 medium onion, chopped
2 green chili peppers, julienned
1 tbsp grated ginger
2 tsp Kashmiri chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 cup tomato paste
300 ml heavy cream
1 pinch of saffron
1 tbsp fenugreek leaves
Garnish:
More heavy cream
Cilantro
Squeeze of lime juice
