Red Beans and Rice

Ingredienser

2 Tablespoons butter

1 large white onion, sliced

3 cups cooked basmati rice (cooked in chicken broth)

one 16 ounce can red kidney beans, drained

½ cup sour cream (more to taste)

½ cup grated Asiago cheese (more to taste)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instruktioner

Melt butter over medium heat in a large skillet. Add onion and cook until brown.

Add rice, beans, sour cream, cheese, and black pepper. Stir until well blended and cheese is melted. Serve immediately.
