Rose’s Chicken Parm

2 Chicken Breasts

2 cups of Flour

2 cups Bread Crumbs

3 Eggs

Salt

Pepper

Onion Powder

Onion Salt

Italian Seasoning

Cooking Oil of choice (K-Rose uses Olive Oil) How much…? enough to just barely fill the bottom of your pan. You don’t want your chicken swimming in it, but you need enough to fry the bottom of your chicken. I usually end up adding more when I flip the chicken.

Favorite Red Sauce (K-Rose sometimes use Pizza Sauce, just because there is normally an open jar)

Mozzarella cheese

Optional: Buns to make it a chicken parm sandwich!

In a pan, add the oil and turn to a medium heat. Butterfly your chicken breasts. Should be about 1/2 in thick. In 1 bowl, add the flour. Season as your heart desires. In a second bowl, add the bread crumbs. Season as your heart desires. In a third bowl, crack & scramble the eggs. Season as your heart desires. Take a piece of chicken, coat both sides in the seasoned flour mixture, then in the egg wash, then in the seasoned bread crumbs. Set on a plate off to the side. Do this to all your pieces of chicken. Once done, set your chicken in the hot pan with the oil. Should start to immediately sizzle. After 4-5 minutes (or until golden brown), flip. After an additional 4-5 minutes (or until the bottom is golden brown) check to see if the chicken is cooked - if cut thin enough, should be good. Once chicken is cooked, put the chicken on a cookie sheet, spoon on red sauce to the top of each piece of chicken & add mozzarella cheese. Sprinkle additional Italian seasoning to the top. Broil in the oven until cheese is melted to your desire. Enjoy!

The key is to season each bowl that you end up dipping your chicken in!

I usually buy the Italian seasoned bread crumbs… but I still season them when making this recipe!
