Wash and dry produce. Peel and finely chop garlic. Heat a drizzle of oil in a small pot over medium heat. Add half the garlic; cook until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add rice; stir to coat. Stir in 1¼ cups water (2¼ cups for 4 servings) and a pinch of salt. Bring to a boil, then cover and reduce to a low simmer. Cook until rice is tender, 15-20 minutes. Keep covered off heat until ready to serve.

While rice cooks, zest and quarter lime. Trim green beans if necessary. Trim and discard bottom 1 inch from asparagus.

Heat a drizzle of oil in a large pan over medium-high heat. Add green beans and cook, stirring occasionally, until tender and slightly blistered, 5-6 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. (If green beans haven't softened, add 1-2 TBSP water.) Transfer to a plate and cover until ready to serve. Swap in asparagus for green beans. Cook, stirring, until browned and tender, 4-6 minutes.

Pat chicken dry with paper towels and season all over with salt and pepper. Heat another drizzle of oil in pan used for green beans over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, 5-6 minutes per side. Turn off heat; transfer to a plate.

Let pan used for chicken cool slightly, then return to medium- high heat. Add remaining garlic and cook, stirring, until fragrant, 30 seconds. Add soy sauce and ¼ cup water (⅓ cup for 4 servings). Simmer until reduced, 2-3 minutes. Stir in jam, Sriracha, and a squeeze of lime juice. Turn off heat; stir in 1 TBSP butter (2 TBSP for 4) until sauce is smooth and glossy. Add chicken and turn to coat.

Fluff rice with a fork; stir in lime zest. Divide rice and green beans between plates. Top rice with chicken. Spoon any remaining sauce from pan over chicken. Serve remaining lime wedges on the side.
