2 1/2 garlic cloves – minced

4 tbsp maple syrup

1 1/2 tsp minced ginger – or ginger paste

1 tsp fresh cracked back pepper

Juice of one lemon

New potatoes cut in half, asparagus spears

Toppings: black sesame seeds

Chopped Green onions, chopped cilantro.

For the Arugula and pear salad

5 cups baby arugula

3 Barlett pears – thinly sliced

3/4 cup pecans

1 cup Parmigiano shavings

3 tbsp maple syrup

4 tbsp olive oil

3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
