It’s white rice, frijoles caldudos (soupy beans which is refried beans that you add water to or you can also use frijoles de la oya), chile de tomate, topped with some queso cotija & crema mexicana. I usually make double the rice, but I didn’t have enough rice which worked out because when my Tio taught us we made a little pot like this.

We usually make a lot because we love it so much even my husband who actually didn’t like it initially & now is happy to eat it for three days!
