    Marry Me Orzo Chicken

    Ingredienser

    • 500g chicken thighs

    • 1 red pepper

    • 1/2 onion

    • 3 garlic cloves

    • 2 tsp tomato paste

    • 100g sun dried tomatoes

    • 500 ml heavy cream

    • 400 ml chicken stock

    • 400g orzo

    • 2 tbsp pork lard or oil of choice

    • garlic powder, paprika powder, chili flakes, salt & pepper

    • optional: top with more fresh pepper & parsley

    Vejledning

    1. Use a large pot (bigger than always pan)

    2. First, cut up the chicken thighs into bite size pieces & marinate with all the spices listed & some olive oil. I marinate overnight, of you have time

    3. Fry the chicken thighs on medium heat for about 7 minutes, then remove them from the pan and set aside in a separate bowl. Make sure to leave the oil.

    4. In the same pan. Sauté the red pepper, onion & garlic on low-medium heat. After abt 7 minutes add the tomato paste and chopped up sun dried tomatoes.

    5. Next, add in the heavy cream, chicken stock and all the spices listed. Also add back in the chicken thighs.

    6. Finally, add the orzo. Let them simmer together until orzo is cooked
