    1 Lb. Chicken Livers

    1/4 Cups Dry Sherry

    1/4 Cups Soy Sauce

    2Tbsp Brown Sugar

    2 Tbsp Cooking Oil

    1/4 Tsp Garlic Powder

    1/8 Tsp Ground Ginger

    1/4 Cups Water

    8 oz Slices Water Chestnuts Drained

    12-14 slices Bacon

    Cut Livers in half, quarter any extra large livers. Place livers in a plastic bag. Set aside.

    Combine in a small mixing bowl, sherry, soy sauce, brown sugar, oil, garlic powder, ginger, and water. Wisk together. Pour over livers.

    Marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 24 hour, turning bag occasionally.

    Drain livers. Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap a bacon piece around a liver piece and water chestnut slice. Secure with a water soaked tooth pick.

    Place on a lightly greased broiler pan. Broil 4 inches from heat 8 - 10 minutes or till livers are no longer pink, turning once. Serve warm.
