14 ½ oz canned diced tomatoes or fire roasted tomatoes (undrained)

6 oz canned tomato paste

1 Tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

2 teaspoons granulated sugar

2 teaspoons dried basil

1 clove garlic

1 teaspoon finely ground sea salt

¾ teaspoon dried oregano

¼ teaspoon ground black pepper (freshly ground)

¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

Instrucciones

Combine all ingredients in food processor or blender.

Pulse 15 times or until mixture is smooth.

Use immediately or store in an airtight container to use later.
